The Norwegian Defence Materiel Agency (FMA) is planning a comprehensive procurement process to revitalize the Coastal Ranger Command (KJK). The project includes a number of articles tailored to the KJK's needs and characteristics, including vessels under 24 meters, C4IS systems, boarding equipment, sensor systems, and UAVs. The industry day will be an important part of the process, where information on the areas of use for the new equipment and the overall requirements that must be met will be presented. This will give suppliers an understanding of the specific challenges and needs of the KJK, so that they can develop and offer solutions that are best suited for the missions of this specialized unit.
