Shoe EH-Can.01 CanHeat 4D-22

CanHeat was developed in Canada at the request of the US Marines, who needed a mobile and tactical system based on proven technology. The goal was to develop a solution that could deliver stable performance in cold climate zones, with integration and compatibility according to NATO standards.

The system is powered primarily by NATO-standard BB-2590 batteries and simultaneously supports external 12–17 V DC and 100–240 V AC power. This allows for flexible use both off-grid and when power is available.

CanHeat is tested and approved for use down to −50 °C and can operate at altitudes up to 3,000 meters.

Heating capacity: 1–4 kW
Weight: 15 kg
Fuel type: Multi-fuel

Description

Quiet and safe heating

CanHeat is designed for safe use in enclosed spaces. The heat source is placed outdoors, while the control and power unit are kept inside the heated area. The system is connected with a single cable for quick and easy installation.

The unit is equipped with a silencer and air intake filter and has a noise level of only 64 dB at 1 meter. Brushless motor reduces wear and provides long operating time with minimal maintenance. The isolated combustion process ensures that no carbon monoxide or exhaust gases are mixed with the heated air. This provides a safe indoor climate without open flames.

The system can be provisioned by one operator and is fully deployable in less than five minutes.

Robust construction for operational use

Built to military specifications and delivered in Nanuk cases with high impact and water resistance, the CanHeat system is compatible with MOLLE attachment systems and is designed for transport and use in demanding field conditions.

The compact CPB unit docks three BB-2590 batteries and is equipped with MIL-spec connectors and an LED control panel for easy and intuitive operation.
