5. Terms of delivery

Euroheater AS ships throughout Norway and Europe. Delivery time may vary depending on your location, but is usually between 2 and 7 business days after registered payment. We reserve the right to longer delivery times during periods of high traffic with us or our transport partner.

Delivery in Norway:
Service packages are delivered to your post office. Posten sends a collection notification by e-mail and you will also receive a collection notification by SMS if you have chosen this in your profile. As a customer, you are obliged to monitor the status of your shipment. Euroheater AS is not responsible for the delivery of notification of arrived package.

If you ask Posten to return the item, and you notify us in advance that you are exercising your right of withdrawal within the deadline, you will only have to pay for the return cost.

If your package is not delivered within the agreed time, you as a customer can set a reasonable additional deadline. If this deadline is exceeded, you can cancel the purchase and get your money back within 14 days.

Delivery in Europe:
Euroheater AS uses UPS for delivery of packages to Europe. The package is delivered to your door, if you are not at home upon delivery this must be agreed with UPS.

6. Complaint and right of withdrawal

All inquiries regarding complaints, damage to goods or errors in delivery must be sent in writing to post@eurohater.no. You will receive a response from one of our case workers as soon as possible. Do not return goods before you have been told to do so by a case worker. In this way, the case is handled as smoothly as possible and without unnecessary return costs. Refunds for withdrawal/complaints that result in credit shall take place within 14 days after receipt of the return shipment.

Right of withdrawal and withdrawal period – general information
The consumer can withdraw from the agreement without giving any reason within 14 days after the seller has fulfilled his obligation to provide information in accordance with the Right of Withdrawal Act, and the item and withdrawal form have been received.

The consumer must notify the seller if the right of withdrawal is used. The deadline is considered met if the notification has been sent before the expiry of the deadline. No formal requirements are set for the notification, but for evidentiary reasons this should be in writing. When the right of withdrawal has been confirmed, use the following information, note that you as the sender are responsible for the return and the return cost.

The Right of Withdrawal Act does not interfere with rights you have under, among other things, the Sales of Goods Act if defects should arise. If you keep the item, you can under certain conditions demand a price reduction, redelivery (new item) or cancel the purchase and get the purchase price back.

If you make use of the right of withdrawal within the deadline, you must have back what you have paid for the item. Before settlement takes place, the item must be sent back to the seller as soon as possible - and within 14 days after notification of use of the right of withdrawal has been given. You must cover return costs yourself, unless the seller has defaulted on the agreement or the seller in accordance with the agreement has delivered a replacement item because the ordered item was not available.

The right of withdrawal presupposes that the item can be returned in substantially the same condition.

The right of withdrawal gives business operators the right to charge the customer if the product has been subjected to a reduction in value as a result of use beyond what is necessary to determine the item's nature, property and/or function. (cf. Ang Angreretten §25).

Complaint – general information
If an error or defect is discovered, the consumer must, within a reasonable time after he or she discovered or should have discovered it, give the seller written notice that he or she will invoke the defect (complaint). The deadline for complaining is nevertheless no shorter than two months from the time the consumer discovered the defect. Complaints must be made no later than two years after the consumer took over the product. If the product or parts of it are intended to last significantly longer with normal use, the deadline for complaining is five years. If the consumer does not complain in time, the right to assert the defect is lost.

A defect that becomes apparent within six months after the consumer assumed the risk for the product (normally the time of delivery) shall be presumed to have existed at the time of the transfer of risk.

If there is a defect in the product, and the consumer has complained within the aforementioned deadlines, the consumer can assert the following:

  • Withhold the purchase price
  • Under certain conditions, choose between rectification and redelivery
  • Demand cancellation of purchase if the defect is not insignificant
  • Claim compensation

If the seller's rectification or redelivery will result in the consumer being prevented from using the product for more than one week, the consumer is, under certain conditions, entitled to demand that a replacement item be made available at the seller's expense. As a general rule, the seller is not entitled to make more than two attempts at rectification or redelivery for the same defect.

If you have further questions about the right of withdrawal, the withdrawal deadline, or complaints, you can contact us by e-mail: pot@euroheater.no.
