5. Terms of delivery

Euroheater AS has shipments throughout Norway and Europe. Delivery time may vary depending on where you live, but is usually between 2 and 7 working days after registered payment. We reserve the right to longer delivery times during periods of heavy traffic for us or our transportation partner.

Delivery in Norway:
Service packages are delivered to your post office. Posten will send a delivery notification by e-mail and you will also receive a delivery notification by SMS if you have selected this in your profile. As a customer, you are obliged to monitor the status of your shipment. Euroheater AS is not responsible for the delivery of notification of arrived packages.

If you ask Posten to return the item, and you notify us in advance that you are exercising your right of withdrawal within the deadline, you will only have to pay for the cost of returning the item.

If your package is not delivered within the agreed time, you as a customer can set a reasonable additional deadline. Should this deadline be exceeded, you can cancel the purchase and get your money back within 14 days.

Delivery in Europe:
Euroheater AS uses UPS for delivery of packages to Europe. The package is delivered to your door, if you are not at home at the time of delivery, this must be agreed with UPS.

6. Complaints and right of withdrawal

All inquiries regarding complaints, damage to goods or delivery errors must be sent in writing to post@eurohater.no. You will receive a response from one of our case managers as soon as possible. Do not return goods until you have been notified by the case manager. This way, the matter will be handled as smoothly as possible and without unnecessary return costs. Refunds for returns/complaints that result in a credit note must be made within 14 days of receipt of the return shipment.

Right of withdrawal and withdrawal period - general information
The consumer may withdraw from the agreement without giving any reason within 14 days after the seller has fulfilled its duty of disclosure in accordance with the Cancellation Act, and the goods and the withdrawal form have been received.

The consumer must notify the seller if the right of withdrawal is exercised. The deadline is considered to have been met if the notification is sent within the deadline. There are no formal requirements for the notification, but it should be in writing for evidentiary reasons. When the right of withdrawal is confirmed, use the following information, note that you as the sender are responsible for the return and the return cost.

Euroheater AS
Masteveien 8,
1481 Hagan, Norway

The Cancellation Act does not interfere with your rights under, for example, the Sale of Goods Act in the event of defects. If you keep the goods, you can, under certain conditions, demand a price reduction, replacement (new goods) or cancel the purchase and get the purchase price back.

If you exercise your right of withdrawal within the deadline, you will be refunded what you have paid for the item. Before settlement takes place, the item must be returned to the seller as soon as possible - and within 14 days after notification of the use of the right of withdrawal has been given. You must cover the return costs yourself, unless the seller has breached the agreement or the seller has delivered a replacement item in accordance with the agreement because the ordered item was not available.

The right of withdrawal requires that the goods can be returned in substantially the same condition.

The right of withdrawal gives the trader the right to charge the customer if the product has suffered a reduction in value as a result of use beyond what is necessary to determine the nature, characteristics and/or function of the goods (see Article 25 of the Right of Withdrawal).

Complaints - general information
If a fault or defect is discovered, the consumer must, within a reasonable time after he or she discovered or should have discovered it, notify the seller in writing that he or she wishes to invoke the defect (complaint). However, the deadline for making a complaint is not shorter than two months from the time the consumer discovered the defect. Complaints must be made no later than two years after the consumer took possession of the product. If the product or parts of it are intended to last significantly longer under normal use, the deadline for complaints is five years. If the consumer does not complain in time, the right to claim the defect is lost.

A defect that becomes apparent within six months of the consumer assuming the risk of the product (normally the time of delivery) shall be presumed to have existed at the time of the transfer of risk.

If there is a defect in the product, and the consumer has complained within the aforementioned time limits, the consumer can claim the following:

  • Withholding the purchase price
  • Under certain conditions, choose between rectification and replacement
  • Demand cancellation of the purchase if the defect is not insignificant
  • Claiming compensation

If the seller's rectification or replacement delivery will result in the consumer being prevented from using the product for more than one week, the consumer is entitled, under certain conditions, to demand that a replacement item be made available at the seller's expense. As a general rule, the seller is not entitled to make more than two attempts at rectification or replacement for the same defect.

If you have further questions about the right of withdrawal, the cooling-off period or complaints, please contact us by e-mail: pot@euroheater.no.
