Euroheater met the rescue community at RESCUE 2026
During RESCUE 2026 in Reykjavík, we met with the rescue and emergency response community to present our heating and energy solutions and exchange experiences about working in demanding conditions.
The International Search and Rescue Conference was organized by ICE-SAR at Harpa in Reykjavík from 16 to 18 October. We had valuable conversations with volunteer rescue teams, the Icelandic Coast Guard and other emergency response actors.
We heard about the challenges they face in the field, discussed needs and received concrete feedback on our solutions. We also presented our solutions to representatives from the civil emergency community in Greenland, with a particular focus on heat and energy in Arctic conditions.
Back where the idea originated
Iceland holds a special place in Euroheater's history. The idea for the company arose after a dramatic crossing of Vatnajökull in February 2019. Extreme weather and cold made the need for reliable heat clear and became the starting point for the development of Euroheater.
Returning to meet people who are working to save others therefore gave the visit an extra meaning.
We thank the organizers and everyone who took the time to meet with us. We will take the experiences and feedback with us as we continue to work on practical, reliable solutions for those who save and protect others.
